Eastern Kentucky University

Online MPA Degree

Program is 100% online. EKU's MPA program is the first MPA degree in Kentucky. Program is available in two different tracks Masters Degree in Public Administration Customizable General Track and the Masters Degree in Public Administration Community Development Track. Certificate options are available for the general track in homeland security, emergency management, occupational safety, and fire and emergency services. Core MPA curriculum includes Administrative Law, Ethics and Public Policy, Public Sector Leadership, Organizations, and Management, HR management, and Policy Analysis and Program Evaluation. Tracks contain more specific classes.

Kentucky State University

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

The Masters of Public Administration (MPA) at Kentucky State University is offered in the evening to accommodate students that are already employed at a full time position. Typically, taking two courses per semester, the MPA degree can be completed in about three years.

Morehead State University

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Master of Public Administration teaches a theoretically informed management program that builds public leaders commited to civic vitue and excellence. Specializations are available in Nonprofit Management and Community Development, Federalism and Public Affairs, and Homeland Security and Political Theory.

Murray State University

Murray State's M.P.A. degree program is offered to students either on campus or online. Specialized areas of the Department of Government, Law and International Affairs are offered.

Northern Kentucky University

Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Northern Kentucky University is a 36-credit hour program that prepares students to lead in government agencies, hospitals, universities, foundations, and other nonprofit organizations. The degree can be completed in a fully online format or in a hybrid format with a mix of in-person, evening classes and online classes.

The MPA has specializations in city management, non-profit management, human resource management, planning, policy analysis, applied research, community and economic development, and government and organizational theory.

The MPA at WKU prepares professionals in top level public administration careers. The program is accredited by the NASPAA and can be completed in 39 semester hours.
